Manually edit a data map

You do not have to change a data map when importing data. Before you import your data, export an existing data map, change the exported data map, and then re-import the changed data map for the data import. 1. Export and rename a data map.
   1. In the Navigation Pane, click Settings, click Data Management, and then click Data Maps.
   2. On the Actions toolbar, click Export.
   3. Specify the location in which to save your file, and then click Save.

3. Make changes to the data map following the required schema.

4. Import the new data map.
   1. In the Navigation Pane, click Settings, click Data Management, and then click Data Maps.
   2. On the Actions toolbar, click Import.
   3. In the Import Data Map dialog box, click Browse, locate the file, and then click OK.
5. Test the new data map by importing a limited amount of data before importing large amounts of data.
