Add products to a kit

Can I do this task?

  1. In the Navigation Pane, click Settings. Then, under Business, click Product Catalog.
  2. In the Product Catalog area, click Products.
  3. In the list of products, open the product that you want.

    Note

    Before you can add products to a kit, you must convert a product to a kit. To do this, in the Actions group, click Convert To Kit.

  4. In the left pane, under Related, click Kit Products.
  5. Under List Tools, in the Records group, click Add Existing Product, and then search for and select the products that you want to add to the kit.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Repeat the preceding two steps to add more products to the kit.
  8. Click the Product tab. Click Save or Save and Close.

Including a product or service in a kit bundles the items together. Product kits can help simplify the sales and ordering process because related products are listed and priced together.

Products that are included in a kit can also be used individually, even though the item is included in kit. A kit product can also be converted back into a product.
