In the Navigation Pane, click Settings, click Business Management, and then click Services.
On the Actions toolbar, click New.
On the General tab, you must enter information in the following fields:
Name
The name should be unique and reflect the specifics of the service to be provided.
Initial Status Reason
This is the status of the service activity when it is created. If your organization prefers to approve all service activities before committing them to the schedule, you can select Requested or Tentative.
Default Duration
You must select how long the service lasts. This can be changed when the service activity is created. The maximum duration of an appointment or service activity is 10 days.
Start Activities Every
You must select how often service activities can start. This allows the start times of service activities to be staggered.
You can enter more information about the service in the Description box.
On the Required Resources tab, define a selection rule.
You can save a service without defining a selection rule, but the service cannot be scheduled.
