Work with Bulk-Deletion Jobs

When you need to delete more than one record at a time, create a bulk-deletion job. Bulk deletion happens in the background.

You can use the Bulk Deletion Wizard to manually create bulk-deletion jobs.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM creates bulk-deletion jobs automatically in the following cases:

• When you use the Import Data Wizard to delete imported records
• When you use the methods described in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Software Development Kit to delete records in bulk

In addition, Microsoft Dynamics CRM automatically generates bulk-deletion jobs for cleanup tasks, such as deleting completed system jobs.
