Can I do this task?

Any users you add must already be in the Active Directory directory service. You cannot add users from external trusted domains with this wizard. Use the Add User form to add a user one at a time.

  1. In the Navigation Pane, click Settings, click Administration, and then click Users.
  2. On the Actions toolbar, point to New, and then click Multiple Users. The Add Users wizard opens.
  3. If you work with more than one business unit, in the Select Business Unit dialog box, select the business unit you want to work with, and then click Next.
  4. On the Select Security Roles page, select one or more security roles, and then click Next.
  5. On the Select License Types page, select the license to use, and then click Next.
  6. On the Select Domains and Groups page, do one of the following, and then click Next.

If the users you want to add are from more than one domain or group, select Select users from all trusted domains and groups.

To select users from a specific domain or group, select Select users from the following domain or group, expand the domain or group, and then select the domain or group.

  7. On the Select Users page, type all or part of the users' names. Use a semicolon to separate names and then press Enter. If the name is not in the domains or groups selected, they will be displayed as red text. Click the name to look it up.

    - OR -

Click the Lookup button Lookup button to search for and select a user.

Repeat this step for all of the users you want to add, and then click Add New Users.

  8. If you need to add more users, for example with a different set of security roles, click Add More Users. The wizard will start over.
  9. After adding all your users, click Close.
